Have you ever stood there,
’Bout to lose it all?
Every side’s throwin’ stones,
Hear the same old call?
Life keeps pullin’ that rope,
Squeezin’ tight on you,
Won’t let you move ahead,
Like it’s punishin’ you.
Tell me now, what do you do?
Do you question God and His master plan too?
Blame everybody else for the mess you’re in,
While you’re sinkin’ deeper in the mud of your sin?
Keep runnin’ headfirst straight into the wall,
Same road, same pain — never learnin’ at all?
Hands shakin’, hear that little voice within,
“Who are you now?
Just a frightened kid?”
Paralyzin’ fear,
That unbearable weight,
A thousand tears fallin’ down in the late-night rain.
Man, won’t you finally bend?
Try to understand what He’s tryin’ to send.
God’s tryna show you somethin’, make you see,
But if you don’t listen, the hurt won’t leave.
Turn around — it ain’t too late.
Reach for His hand before it’s sealed by fate.
Tell Him straight what you feel inside,
Drop your pride,
Let your truth be your guide.
Count your blessings,
Look at what you’ve got,
Every little mercy that you forgot.
Be thankful now, don’t condemn them all,
Grace will catch you when you fall.
Just reach out your hand
In the dark somewhere — You’ll find His hand…
It’s already there
